Help Us Raise Money for the 10th Annual PAWS Mutt Strut!

Believe it or not, Dipper is a rescue. Had he not been pulled by a no-kill adoption organization, my little terrier would have been euthanized by the city’s animal control when he arrived there in March 2015.

That’s why we’re walking and fundraising for the 10th Annual PAWS Mutt Strut. The Mutt Strut benefits one of Philly’s premier animal rescue organizations, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). While Dipper didn’t come from PAWS, it was the efforts of rescue organizations like PAWS that saved his life. Without rescues like PAWS, dogs like Dipper simply don’t make it. PAWS gives countless other pets the same opportunity to live that my dog had.

The PAWS Mutt Strut is October 22 at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. It’s a fundraising walk and fall festival dedicated to all things dog, rescue, and fun. If you have any interest in any of those things, we definitely suggest you go—it’ll be our first year, too!

We are beyond excited to participate in this lifesaving event. If you have enjoyed our story and our own mission here at Little Dog Big Philly, we’d be incredibly thankful if you made a donation—no matter the size. If you can’t donate or participate, we would still love to hear from you. Comment here or on our fundraising page to tell us why you love PAWS and how rescue has changed your life. You can visit our fundraising page here.

From Dipper and dogs like him, thank you.
